LV Apical Thrombus
Example
- There is a large LV thrombus (20 mm x 15 mm) in the akinetic apex.
- There is a moderate-sized area of transmural late gadolinium enhancement of the distal anterior wall and apex consistent with a nonviable distal LAD territory myocardial infarction.
- The LCx and RCA territory myocardium is free of late gadolinium enhancement and considered fully viable.
